Our First Time Parent Story
ReadyBaby was founded by Annissa Byrd and Alex Swan, new moms living in San Francisco and Brooklyn. Like many parents, they struggled to reconcile their travel-heavy, on-the-go lives with the realities of parenting. Every outing meant running through long mental checklists, coordinating with a partner, and spending 20–30 minutes just preparing to leave the house.
They knew there had to be a better way.
When they couldn’t find a solution that worked, they built one. ReadyBaby is a child-centered travel system where the checklist is the product—designed to take the mental load out of parents’ heads and put it into thoughtfully designed bags.
